The personal note.
Imperial Junior Suites are unique jewels in the historic hotel's crown. High ceilings and hand-crafted stucco, the sparkle of crystal chandeliers and exquisite antiques exude the palace's aristocratic character. Regular guests and newcomers alike can choose their favourite suite that measures from 50 to 60 square metres.
Elegant casement windows let light flood in and offer views of the busy city below. The spacious, connected sleeping and living areas are furnished with antique chaise longues and plush sofas that invite guests to relax and unwind. Floral arrangements and bowls of fresh fruit underscore the gracious air of the historic rooms. Walk-in closets in most rooms provide plenty of storage space.
Highly polished wood, artistically turned table feet, sweeping ornament and precious inlay work are to be found in many of the suites. Lovers of antiques will be delighted by treasures such as a magnificent nineteenth-century standing clock, Biedermeier armoire, or Baroque writing desk.
The honeymoon suite envelops newly-weds in delicate green. Here too the Imperial's exclusivity is to be seen in a sumptuous canopied bed with ornate columns. The bathroom offers every conceivable luxury-even a jacuzzi for two.
