Elisabeth Suite

Living like an empress.

The Elisabeth Suites are named after the great empress, consort of Emperor Franz Josef I. Leave the elevator for once and let your personal butler escort you up the majestic ceremonial staircase, past the Empress' portrait, to the traditional suites on the hotel's first and second floors.

Neo-classical columns, noble mirrored doors and charming niches-every suite is unique, and their majestic ceilings never fail to elicit marvels from guests. The suites royally proportioned at 55-65 square metres and each with an individual floor-plan, blend harmoniously into the centuries-old architecture of the Wurttemberg palace. One of the suites once had its own chapel and even today delights guests with its impressive arched ceiling.

Inviting armchairs and sofas in the living quarters recall the charm of a bygone era and are the perfect surroundings for a relaxing cup of tea. The sliding mirrored doors open to reveal comfortable king-sized or twin beds. Some suites offer a storage room large enough to accommodate any world traveller's baggage.

The suites' varied colour schemes will appeal to the most discerning taste: muted pink exudes warmth and light, delicate green enlivens the spirit while golden "Schönbrunn yellow" melds harmoniously with sky blue. Here the enchanting girl who was to be crowned empress of Austria would most certainly have felt at home.
